From the magnificent Washington Monument, visitors see a beautiful panoramic view of the capital divided into four quadrants.  Government appointed architects laid the White House to the north, the Jefferson Memorial to the south, the Capitol to the east, and the Lincoln Memorial to the west. The most powerful city in the world was designed with a perfect cross.

This was no accident. Meaningfully place on top of the Washington Monument, the centerpiece of the nation’s capital are the Latin words: Laus Deo, meaning “praise be to God.”

The Bible says, “If you fully obey all of these commandments … God will transform you into the greatest nation in the world” (Deuteronomy 28:1 TLB).
