The prophet Isaiah foretold the Babylonian captivity and deliverance of ancient Israel two hundred years before it happened. Amazingly, he predicted the name of King Cyrus who would set Israel free.

Fulfilled prophecy is the proof of God. Speaking for God, Isaiah said, “I am God, and there is no other; … declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done” (Isaiah 46:9-10).

Isaiah prophesied 750 years before the messiah’s crucifixion and said, “the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all … it pleased the Lord to … make His soul an offering for sin, … For He shall bear their iniquities” (Isaiah 53:6, 10-11).
