Lamb’s Christian Center (LCC) was founded by Rock Church in Roanoke, Virginia in the spring of 1984, by Pastor Henry and Linda Vandergriff. The leadership’s emphasis has sought to provide stability by laying a foundation of simplicity; loving God, loving each other, following Jesus Christ’s example, praying, worshipping and building strong families.

The church facility was literally built on weekends by the skills and talents of the congregation for two years prior to 1990. Today, the church family is enjoying the rewards of Generation Next, as our children have grown, married, and have families of their own, which are now committed to the same timeless principles.

God has given our families a promise, "God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.” (Deuteronomy 30:5 NKJV)

While our Pastor has received international attention for his teachings and writings about the “last days”, he remains committed to the local church family, firmly believing that our spiritual foundation is the right way to build for a life of stability, joy and peace.
